SPOTLIGHT

Child Nutrition Legislation

In the U.S., 17 million children don't always have enough to eat. In Texas, 1 in 4 children (1.6 million) don't have access to the foods they need to lead active, healthy lives. National child feeding  programs help, and these programs are up for improvement and reauthorization by Congress. You can help.  Read more . . .

A SPECIAL THANKS

To Walmart and Share Our Strength for their recent generous grant to our nutrition education program, Operation Frontline.  The grant will help us reach more low-income families with information on shopping for and preparing the most nutritious food possible on a limited budget.
