Senior Share

Through Senior Share, TAFB provides seniors at risk of hunger with nutritious food that they can prepare and eat at home. Seniors also learn about various topics that are relevant to their prolonged health and well-being. Senior Share participants must be 60 years or older and live in the ZIP codes of the senior centers service. The program operates at these locations: Barnabas House, Casa, Diamond Hill, Fellowship Corner, Hadley-Meadowbrook, Haltom City, Mineral Wells/New Haven, Portfolio Resident Services at Sedona Village, River Oaks, Vega Place Senior Community and Watauga.

Meals for Minds

Meals for Minds is a Target-sponsored school pantry that takes place during the school year at M.H. Moore Elementary School in Fort Worth. Every third Wednesday of the month, M.H. Moore students can visit the pantry with their family and pick up several meals worth of food (at least 22 pounds). At least 25 percent of this food is fresh fruits and vegetables. Students and their families are able to choose the items they want to take home and enjoy.
