TAFB Kitchen Garden Cooking School: Harvest Series

From the backyard to your kitchen table. Join us for a new program that will teach you how to grow and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables. Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Kitchen Garden Cooking School “Harvest Series” will share ways to beat beet fatigue and get a kick out of kale. Whether you’re a veggie pro or just beginning to test the waters and try new types of produce, you’re sure to walk away with some tips to add to your routine.

Register for an upcoming workshop.

This free workshop includes:
  • Tips on growing the produce in a backyard or community garden
  • Nutritional benefits and vegetable varieties
  • Chef-led cooking demonstration on three ways to prepare the produce
  • Flavor profiles
  • Take-home recipes
