Laughs for Lunch Money Comedy Show
8 p.m., J. Gilligan’s, 400 East Abram St., Arlington
Four nonperishable food items or $10 at the door, all for Tarrant Area Food Bank, will get you in to laugh with local comics Mark Agee (Comedy Central in Dallas, Last Comic Standing on NBC), Richard Hunger a.k.a. BDH on local sports radio, Steven L. Stewart, Junk Yard Dog, Floyd Moon and others.
Or, the DVD recording of this laughter-filled benefit will be on sale in case you can't make it to the real deal. All profits go to the Food Bank.
Host and organizer of Laughs for Lunch Money, Steven L. Stewart, would like to see this become an annual event. In an email to the Food Bank’s Community Events Manager, Susan Frye, Steven wrote: “This is something near & dear to my heart ‘cuz in 2003 I lost everything and if it wasn’t for the food bank, I would have starved to death while trying to turn things around . . . and I want to repay that!”
Thank you, Steven, for your support!
