North Texas Giving Day

On September 18, 2014, donations can be made 6 a.m. to midnight to more than 1,600 certified nonprofits listed on the new website Donations $25 and above will be amplified by $2 million in bonus funds and prizes.

Fight Hunger. Spark Change.

Through the Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign, the general public can participate in a voting campaign to determine which Feeding America member food banks will receive funding awards from Walmart.

Fifty (50) Feeding America member food banks will be selected to receive a $60,000 funding award to support their general hunger-relief initiatives.  Award recipients will be determined based on the number of votes received in the voting campaign that will be active from 12:00 AM EDT on September 15, 2014 through 11:59 PM EDT on October 5, 2014.

Grub Run 5K

Last year the Grub Run 5K collected a record-breaking 10,000 pounds in food donations for children, families and seniors in need just prior to the run. This year, they want to beat that record and you can help.

All run participants are asked to bring at least 5 non-perishable food items that will go to Tarrant Area Food Bank. For more information on this event click here.

If you are supporting Tarrant Area Food Bank by sponsoring a fundraiser, food drive or marketing campaign for the general public, we ask that you review the TAFB MMP Guidelines and the MMP Application (below).  The application helps clarify expectations and create a more efficient planning and approval process. This will help us work together for our mutual benefit. 

On this form, in addition to describing your event and its benefits for TAFB and your group or company, you may request promotion of your public event or public food drive through our website and/or social media. Please understand that completion of the form does not guarantee that your event/food drive will be promoted through Food Bank marketing channels.
