Tarrant Area Food Bank Hosts “Dig Deep: A Conference for Growers”

TARRANT AREA FOOD BANK INVITES LOCAL GREEN THUMBS TO “DIG DEEP”
Howard Garrett, the Dirt Doctor, to present at annual Conference for Growers

Dig Deep: A Conference for Growers will provide beginner to intermediate gardeners the opportunity to perfect their growing skills by following one of three specialized learning tracks: Home Community and Market gardening. With 16 topic sessions, participants can learn everything from growing enough food for your family to starting a food-based business. More than 100 participants will hear from multiple subject matter experts, including “The Dirt Doctor”, Howard Garrett, a nationally syndicated radio personality. Howard is recognized as a leader in research, education and promotion of natural organic products and practices. During his presentation, Howard will share how you can make your garden flourish with the help of beneficial insects and organic pest control products.
