Tarrant Area Food Bank Will Continue to Mask, Glove, and Socially Distance
Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced on Tuesday, March 2, that some statewide COVID-19 mandates will be lifted as of March 10, 2021. Vaccines are being distributed throughout the state; however, until more Texans are vaccinated, COVID-19 remains a serious concern in our community.
In the continued effort to preserve the health and safety of our staff, volunteers and the neighbors that we serve, TAFB will continue to follow recommended CDC Guidelines and COVID-19 safety protocols to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. If you are receiving food at our distribution sites or you are volunteering for TAFB, please wear a mask, covering both your nose and mouth, and maintain CDC recommended social distancing (6ft.)
Thank you for your continued understanding and support.
