Tarrant Area Food Bank’s expert staff will walk you through the steps to a successful garden. This workshop is packed with tips–from choosing which crops to grow to the best tools to use. It’s time to turn over a new leaf, or plot of soil, and start the journey to your own spring garden.

- How to choose the location of your garden based on available water, sunlight and soil
- Crops that grow well in spring and summer
- Direct seeding vs. transplants
- Fundamentals of square-foot gardening
