Notes

Smart Shopping Tips
  • Grade A honey is filtered and generally stays in liquid form longer. Most commercial honey is pasteurized.
  • Raw honey is unfiltered and not pasteurized. It is cloudier in appearance and tends to crystalize.  It should not be given to children younger than one year of age.
Cooking & Serving Tips:
  • Wheat germ, uncooked oats or graham cracker crumbs can be substituted for the dry cereal.
  • Add unsweetened coconut to provide extra crunch.
  • Honey may be substituted with agave syrup.
