Smart Shopping Tips
- Grade A honey is filtered and generally stays in liquid form longer. Most commercial honey is pasteurized.
- Raw honey is unfiltered and not pasteurized. It is cloudier in appearance and tends to crystalize. It should not be given to children younger than one year of age.
Cooking & Serving Tips:
- Wheat germ, uncooked oats or graham cracker crumbs can be substituted for the dry cereal.
- Add unsweetened coconut to provide extra crunch.
- Honey may be substituted with agave syrup.
