- 1/2 medium onion
- 1/4 green bell pepper
- 2 ribs celery
- 2 cans (14.5-ounces) green beans
- 1 can (14.5-ounces) chopped tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Wash bell pepper and celery. Wipe off tops of all cans.
Peel and chop onion. Chop green pepper and celery. Peel and finely chop garlic clove.
Drain the liquid from the green beans and rinse with water.
Combine green beans, tomatoes with liquid, onion, green pepper, celery, garlic and red pepper flakes in a skillet.
Cover over medium heat and cook for 15 minutes until the celery is tender and the food is hot.
