The Tarrant Area Food Bank Ready To Learn Initiative Partners with H-E-B and Mansfield ISD to Open The Jaguar Den In-School Market at Mansfield Summit High School

WHAT: 1 in 4 children face hunger across the Tarrant Area Food Bank’s 13-county service area. Tarrant Area Food Bank is working to change that through its Ready To Learn initiative by opening 100 in-school markets across its service area in 2024. The Ready to Learn Initiative is designed to increase access to nutritious food and essential nutrition resources for families with school-aged children who live in food insecurity.
TAFB has partnered with H-E-B and Mansfield ISD to open its next Ready to Learn In-School Market, the Jaguar Den Market at Mansfield Summit High School on Thursday, September 12.
The grand opening ceremony will include a brief address from representatives from the Tarrant Area Food Bank, H-E-B, Mansfield ISD, and the City of Mansfield. The event will conclude with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
WHO: Summit High School families and community members are invited to celebrate this significant milestone. Food assistance will be made available following the grand opening ceremony program.
