HungerMitao Tarrant!

HungerMitao Tarrant is an Indian American social action group dedicated to ending hunger in our area through giving, advocacy, and volunteering in partnership with Tarrant Area Food Bank! As a member of Feeding America, Tarrant Area Food Bank provides over 1 million meals per week to our community through its 350+ partner agencies across 13 counties. By supporting them, we are feeding the 1 in 6 people in our community who struggle with putting food on the table for their families. We are working together towards a world where no one has to go hungry!

Please join us for our first volunteer event on Saturday, August 14th. In celebration of Independence Day, we will be sorting and quality-checking donated goods at the Tarrant Area Food Bank Distribution Center so that they can be distributed to our neighbors in need. Please plan to wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable work clothes, and your face mask IF you have not been fully vaccinated.
