The Hunger + Hope program is a learning module that helps youth understand the connection between food insecurity and their mental health. Not a problem – participation is open to the general public at no cost to learn more about the affect hunger has on mental health and well-being.
Levels of Participation
Invite a representative from Tarrant Area Food Bank and The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation to your facility to:
Provide a Hunger + Hope presentation for kids K-12 grade. Availabel in 15, 30 and 45 minutes.
Coordinate a volunteer opportunity at a mobile food distribution
Facilitate a QPR (Question, Persuade & Refer) training
