WHO: LBJ Infrastructure Group (LBJIG), the developer and operator of the LBJ Express and LBJ TEXpress Lanes; NTE Mobility Partners, the developer and manager of the North Tarrant Express and NTE TEXpress Lanes; the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB).
WHAT: Third annual LBJ & NTE TEXpress Lanes Food ‘DRIVES’ to benefit the NTFB and TAFB. These partnerships have helped North Texas drive out hunger for the past three years.
HOW: LBJIG and NTEMP will donate proceeds from each toll transaction up to $15,000 total to each corridor’s local food bank. Every dollar donated to NTFB and TAFB provides meals to hungry North Texans who are in need. Drivers can participate by driving on the LBJ and/or the NTE TEXpress Lanes on Saturday, Nov. 17.
WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
WHERE: The LBJ TEXpress Lanes, a 13.3-mile tolled express lanes project located along I-635, from Luna Road to Greenville Avenue and I-35E between Loop 12 and Valley View Lane.
The NTE TEXpress Lanes located in Northeast Tarrant County on Northeast Loop 820 and SH-121/183 Airport Frwy, from I-35W to Industrial Boulevard, and on I-35W, from the I-30/downtown interchange to Heritage Trace Parkway.
WHY: During the holiday season, there are many who go hungry. LBJIG and NTEMP seek to support the local cities and communities along the LBJ Express, North Tarrant Express and I-35W corridors. These donations will go directly to the NTFB and TAFB to help fight hunger across North Texas. At the end of this year’s food drives, LBJIG and NTEMP will have donated a total of $90,000 to the regional food banks and helped provide more than 360,000 meals.

NTE/LBJ/35W:
LBJ Infrastructure Group (LBJIG), NTE Mobility Partners (NTEMP) and NTE Mobility Partners Segments 3 (NTEMP3) are three companies that are made up of a Cintra-led consortium, selected to finance, design, build, operate and maintain three major D-FW projects which include: the North Tarrant Express, the LBJ Express and the I-35W project. These projects have improved mobility by adding additional road capacity through a combination of general highway lanes and continuous frontage roads, along with tolled express lanes (TEXpress Lanes) that use variable pricing to keep traffic flowing even during peak travel times. These three projects total $6.4 billion, span 36.8 miles of highway and provide some of the most innovative, congestion management solutions in North Texas.
