Youth will get their hands in the dirt as they learn about the basics of gardening and how fresh produce makes it to a plate. They will also learn why eating healthy is beneficial for their bodies. Each class will include a take-home project to continue their newly discovered gardening skills.
With the goal of fostering appreciation and inspiring giving back, youth will experience volunteering in our distribution center. They will learn about the mission of TAFB and how we aim to close the hunger gap in our local community. Only available at onsite camps.
