Elevate Employees Champion Hunger Relief

Tarrant Area Food Bank is fortunate to have the support of caring individuals, organizations and local businesses across 13 counties. Elevate Credit, a publicly held non-prime lender, partners with us to bring relief in the form of healthy food to the people in our community who need it most.

Elevate is the title sponsor of our annual Gear Up to End Hunger cycling event, which is held every fall. Gear Up 2018 will take place Saturday, Oct. 6, at Rockwood Park in Fort Worth.

Last year, more than 30 cyclists from Elevate participated in the bike ride. Elevate riders joined more than 400 cyclists from DFW and beyond.

Elevate associates are each given 16 hours to spend serving the community every year. Many choose to volunteer at Tarrant Area Food Bank. Ryan Frische, the company’s communications specialist, says employees are enthusiastic about fighting hunger and excited about TAFB’s many programs and the scope of its work.

“It’s a good opportunity to learn about your community members,” he says of volunteering.

Elevate encourages self-reliance by providing responsible credit options to neighbors who need financial help. Ryan says they’ve helped lendees save $6 billion.

We’re so grateful for the partnership of Elevate Credit and their dedicated employees. On behalf of the many neighbors we serve together, thank you for your commitment to hunger relief!
