Food Is Love Photo Challenge

Food is Love

Photographers of all levels–professional, hobbyists, and beginners! We have an exciting opportunity for you to share your talent. We invite you to participate in our Food is Love Photo Challenge.

Through your lens you can capture moments that resonate with viewers across the generations. Capture the moment when someone shares knowledge on how to plant and grow the food we eat. Capture traditions being passed down to family or friends over a meal. Capture the sense of connection people feel when they prepare a recipe together.

The truth is, there are myriad ways to capture why food is love.

Photographers, submit your photos for entry into our Food is Love Photo Challenge. We are excited to share that we have extended the deadline for submitting photos. The new deadline is noon on Monday, March 18. Winners will be notified at 5 p.m. on March 18.

Photographers can submit one photo per class, per category. There are three categories total and we will select one winner from each class in each category.

Chef’s Choice

Time to show off your best food photos! Snap a shot of a masterpiece lasagna, steak or any prepared dish. TAFB Executive Chef Manny Vasquez and Production Chef Dedrich (Chef D) Flint will team up to determine which images are the clear winners.

Food Connects Us

Bring people and the food they grow together, prepare together or eat together to light. Record the memorable moment of people connecting while planting the food that sustains us. Capture your family preparing a recipe. How do your friends and family show food is love?

First Taste

There is a first time for everything, including the first time you had a popsicle, bit into a piece of pizza or savored your first hamburger. Photograph the moment that a friend or family member takes that first bite.
